Trade Tower is part of the Plantation Wharf development.
Redevelopment of the riverside sites along Lombard Road and York Road began in the early 1980s with Broadwell Land’s seven-acre Plantation Wharf in York Road. The multi-storey Trades Tower was intended as offices but the tower was still untenanted in 1990 when the developers went into receivership. In 1993, Trade Tower was converted into flats by Try Homes.
