Does anyone have a picture of the Crane and lorries being used, in the early nineteen seventies, to lift boilers onto the roof of a high-rise block in Kilburn High Road ?
Am particularly interested in the Morris FGK40 two ton flat, of Three Counties Heating Engineers Limited, Hertford.
It was painted orange.
I think you were referring to the city and pram toy shop, which was situated on Kilburn high road, opposite Kilburn high road train station?
If so, I remember it well.
I lived in Kilburn during the 1970s and I can still remember going into the said shop to look at the various toys on offer.
I also recall that an elderly man with white hair a long and full white beard used to work in there.
I can’t remember when it closed down though but I hope that my information will be of use to you.
