Centurion Close, N7

Centurion Close follows the line of the former Cumberland Street (Ponder Street).

As Centurion Close the road seems to date from 1981. Before redevelopment, this was called Ponder Street from 1938 onwards and before that Cumberland Street.

It was laid out in 1853 by Henry Law who had leased land from owner Thomas Cubitt.
