Compton Terrace is a street with mid-19th century terraced housing located between Upper Street and Canonbury Road.
The three-storey houses have decorative stucco facades.
At the northern end of Highbury Corner, there is a plaque erected in memory of the individuals who lost their lives, were injured, and experienced bereavement when a V1 flying bomb struck and destroyed the area in 1944.
This website does not sell maps. Instead it offers a subscription service via Substack. Paid Substack subscribers can get old maps/satellite views in printable A2 PDF format. Though we will not be printing or framing ourselves, you'll be able to take your map to your local print shop/picture framer and let them produce the magic. |
