Black Raven Alley
Black Raven Alley ran south from Upper Thames Street down to Swan Wharf (The building in darkness on the left). The building on the right of the photo is the Old Swan pub. The archway on the right led through to the City Commercial Wharf on Old Swan Lane.
The entire area was destroyed during the first days of the Blitz in September 1940.
