Ronan Walk was one of the streets constructed in a 1970s build parallel to the Harrow Road.
Replacing a whole line of "Arts and Craftts" terraces along Droop Street, the route of Ronan Walk and of its tree-themed neighbours (Maple Walk, Sycamore Walk, Hawthorn Walk, Brian Walk and Heather Walk) revives the route of a track which appears on the 1800 map of the area.
