St Paul’s from the south west in 1896
Allhallows Lane is named after the churches of All-Hallows-the-Great and Less.
Both churches were destroyed in the Great Fire of 1666. All-Hallows-the-Great was rebuilt by Christopher Wren, but was demolished in 1894.
