Asmuns Hill, NW11
Hampstead Garden Suburb
Asmuns Hill was the location for the first buildings in Hampstead Garden Suburb.

Hampstead Garden Suburb was built on part of Eton College’s estate to the east of Finchley Road.

Building was begun in 1907, near Asmuns Hill, by independent groups. The Hampstead Garden Suburb Act of 1906 enabled the character of the area to be determined by the trustees and their architects, R.B. Parker and Raymond Unwin, with Sir Edwin Lutyens as consultant.
