Holloway Road is now a short street whose length once extended over Melon Road.
Holloway Road dates from 1870/1871. It was built on land that belonged to Holywell Priory, a nunnery in Shoreditch.
Most of the street was demolished in the 1966 construction of the Cathall council estate.
