Annesley Avenue, NW9
Colindale
Annesley Avenue dates from the turn of the twentieth century.

Building spread north to the Hyde and to Colindale, a suburban outpost near the old hamlet of Colindeep. Terraces were built in Colindale Avenue and Annesley Avenue between 1897 and 1914, presumably because of the near-by hospital, Public Health laboratory and tram depot.

Annesley Avenue was for long the southern terminus of the 292 bus route.
