Uxbridge Road begins at the Holland Park roundabout, runs along Shepherds Bush Green and continues to Acton.
It is part of the old Roman road leading out of London towards the west.
Spike Milligan shared an office with Eric Sykes at 130 Uxbridge Road on Shepherd’s Bush Green. It was here that they established ’Associated London Scripts’ with Galton and Simpson. The latter two went on to create Steptoe & Son set in Shepherd’s Bush.
