Lansdowne Gardens features Lansdowne Circus at its centre.

Lansdowne Circus, featuring uniform Neo-classical style terraces surrounding a central circular garden, was part of a speculative housing development mainly overseen by John Snell between 1843 and 1850. The land was owned by James Humphries and was intended to cater to the middle-class population. The layout of the axial roads around the formal circus, the presence of numerous street trees, and the arrangement of detached, semi-detached, and terraced houses have changed little since the mid-19th century.
