The former Devonshire Road was renamed Allen Edwards Road in 1937.
All Saints (Church of England) was situated on Allen Edwards Road. It was founded in 1878 and closed in 1948.
Devonshire Road can be seen on the 1860s mapping but may have existed before.
The whole area went under the bulldozer around 1955.
