Decoy Farm, painted here in 1914 by E.H. Smith.

The 18th century building (demolished in 1935), took its name from a nearby pond used as a duck decoy.

Mutton Bridge takes its name from the brook which joins the Dollis Brook to form the River Brent. The road it carries is Bell Lane, an old route from Hampstead to Hendon via Temple Fortune.
